The Ferrari 296 Speciale is the hardcore, track-focused evolution of the standard 296 GTB. Finished in the legendary Rosso Corsa and equipped with the optional carbon pack, this hybrid supercar transforms into an aggressive weapon.
These are the key upgrades compared to the standard 296:
- Real steering wheel buttons: The biggest win for true enthusiasts: the frustrating haptic touch-sensitive controls have officially been replaced by physical, tactile buttons on the steering wheel for precise control while driving.
- More power: The hybrid twin-turbo V6 is tuned to unleash a brutal 880 hp (+50 hp), featuring an F1-inspired extraboost function to pull you violently out of corners.
- Carbon diet: Extensive use of carbon fibre (including bumpers, wings, and engine cover) combined with stripped-back sound insulation makes the Speciale 60 kg lighter. This also allows the V6 roar to echo much louder inside the cockpit.
- Track aerodynamics: Radical body modifications generate 435 kg of downforce at 250 km/u (+20% increase) to glue the car to the tarmac.
- Unfiltered handling: Stiff, passive Multimatic shock absorbers replace the electronic setup, delivering sharp, pure, and communicative feedback directly to the driver.
- Blistering performance: It launches from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
With the 296 Speciale, Ferrari proves that hardcore track performance and pure driving sensations can still merge flawlessly in the modern hybrid era.
