TEAM WRT MAKES HISTORY WITH BACK-TO-BACK VICTORIES AT MISANO 🏆

The second win of the weekend for the #32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO makes Charles Weerts the most successful driver in Sprint Cup history.

Charles surpasses his former Sprint teammate, Dries Vanthoor, while Team WRT extends its winning streak at Misano to nine consecutive seasons.

Weerts and Kelvin van der Linde leave the Adriatic coast leading the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup championship.

#30's Matisse Lismont and Ignacio Montenegro made a second trip to the podium, this time finishing third after a pit stop infringement penalty denied them an even better result.

The duo retain the lead of the Silver Cup standings.

#46 narrowly missed out on the podium with a strong fourth-place finish, while #31 had to serve a penalty during its pit stop.

There isn't long to wait until the next Sprint round, as the GT crew heads to Magny-Cours in two weeks' time. 🏁

Our starting positions for the final race in Misano are set! 🇮🇹

Yesterday’s winner BMW M4 GT3 EVO #32 will start from the front row, in the hands of Kelvin van der Linde. Max Hesse will be directly behind in the #46 sister car, with Jordan Pepper rounding off the top-10 and Nacho Montenegro placing fifth in class.

Double victory in race one secures Team WRT's nine-year winning streak in Misano 🏆

#32's Charles Weerts and Kelvin van der Linde took overall GT World Challenge Europe honours after starting from the second row.

Unfortunately, pole-sitter Valentino Rossi received a 10-second penalty for a race start infringement, leaving BMW M teammate Max Hesse fighting to make up ground in the second half of the race.

#46 crossed the line P6 overall, closely followed by sister car #31, as Amaury Cordeel and Jordan Pepper fought hard from P19 to P7.

The second victory came courtesy of Silver Cup duo Mattise Lismont and Ignacio Montenegro. Both drivers delivered a strong race, while their crew played a key role in their progress during the pit stop.

Tomorrow, we get to do it all again! See you in the morning for Q2 🏁

We are at the home race of #46's Valentino Rossi, and with our incredible history at Misano World Circuit, we are ready to add some victories to our tally.

Round 2 of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup will see the usual double-header format, where our BMW M quartet will be fighting for both overall and class wins.

Pre-race job swap 🔁

Usually it’s Team WRT prepping the machines and briefing the drivers before they go on track, but on Tuesday, we reversed the roles.

Vale kindly welcomed the crew to his VR|46 Motor Ranch, gave the ladies and gentlemen some useful tips and let them loose on the famous flat track.

An unforgettable way to kick off race week.

Guess who’s back? 🔥

The Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 EVO quartet has arrived on the Adriatic Coast for the second double-header of the 2026 GT World Europe Sprint Cup.

Team WRT has been victorious every year in Misano since 2018, and they plan to keep that streak alive!

With three Pro class entries and one in the Silver Cup, the Belgian squad will be eyeing up silverware both overall and in class.

A double celebration at Interlagos! 🏆🏁

What a day for BMW M Team WRT at the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of São Paulo! 🇧🇷

The #15 BMW M Hybrid V8 of Dries Vanthoor, Kevin Magnussen and Raffaele Marciello claimed its first-ever overall FIA WEC victory, securing BMW M Team WRT's second Hypercar win of the season following #20’s historic home triumph at Spa.

Despite feeling unwell during his stint, Dries Vanthoor showed incredible tenacity to help bring home the victory, while the #20 crew of Robin Frijns, René Rast and Sheldon van der Linde fought from 16th on the grid to finish sixth, putting Frijns and Rast back at the top of the drivers' standings.

In LMGT3, the #69 BMW M4 GT3 EVO of Dan Harper, Parker Thompson and Anthony McIntosh returned to the podium with a fantastic second-place finish. Smart strategy, flawless ex*****on and a striking Brazilian-inspired livery made it a memorable race for the team.

It wasn't the result the #32 crew had hoped for after a late penalty ended their charge, but the entire team once again demonstrated the determination that keeps WRT in the hunt for team honours.

Next stop? Misano! The GT team heads straight to Italy this weekend for the next round of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup. 🇮🇹
