Day 2/3 on the Toyota Noah.

Rebuilt both drive axles first then moved on to fitting the new rack ends, steering boots, rod ends then new bottom arms with ball joints, new anti roll bar links then had to refit the crossmember and tighten everything up. A BG oil flush and induction flush was done as well, the system was filthy and a lot of gunk came out the exhaust. The oil was changed.... brake shoes replaced & parking brake adjusted then a blown license plate bulb replaced. A bit exhausted so I called it quits and will finish up tomorrow. Stay tuned for the final day 🙏

Today was challenging to say the least.. won't go into much detail. So today a Toyota Vitz came in for just an oil change, that was done quickly and it was on it's way. We went straight onto a Toyota Noah which is in for 3 days of work as it's in need of some extensive repairs + a full service & flushes. The brake drums were removed & delivered to Black Rock Auto to be resurfaced, I came back to the workshop and we stripped down all of the front suspension, removed the drive axles to replace the damaged c.v boot kits, removed rack ends & rod ends etc etc. On the front right side someone previously tried to remove the shocks and damaged one of the shock mount nuts.... rust start to eat out the shock tower etc so it was very challenging to get the damaged nut off. I cut the excess off the shock mount stud so that I could fit a special tool onto what was left of the nut and removed it. The old shocks were stripped down and new shocks, rebound rubbers & shock mounts fitted and I sourced a nut from my toolkit. The drive axles were stripped down and cleaned up, we will rebuild and reinstall tomorrow, fit the new steering and other suspension bits along with the rest of the work. Stay tuned for day 2

We had a DMax in today to have some work done on the front suspension & steering, also replace the fuel filter sediment sensor (the light was illuminated on the dash). The work was done without any hiccups and the vehicle was collected at the end of the day.

We had this Isuzu DMax in today for it's routine service. A full service has a mechanical inspection built into the service. This allows the technician to go through the entire vehicle (mechanically) to see if the vehicle has any issues and note them for the customer and advise how to proceed. During the mechanical check, the front right wheel had shake due to a wheel bearing that needed tension adding to the bearing. The assembly was pulled down & the bearing tensioned and the wheel checked again for shake. It was Nikolai's first time doing this job so I had to go a bit slower and explain how and why this is done. We completed the service by 3pm and the vehicle was collected soon after. Weekend time.... need to relax and unwind. Have a great weekend and stay safe.... hoping to see you here next week for more hard work 🙏😎

In today for it's routine service was this Kia Picanto, it's low mileage and very well kept so everything went well. Nikolai did 90% of the work as I was not in a good frame of mind today. My best friends funeral was today and all I could do was watch it online as there's no quick trip to England and back. Will do my own tribute for him hopefully this weekend. Cherish the people you love, we're here today and gone today. Have a great night 🙏

Day 5 of August aka T-26 days before 41st birthday.... this month makes 3 years in a row that I've been asked to take the male residents at the GIS school to Bushy Park for a tour. It's so much fun when you see the guys step off the bus with their screw faces and within 10 minutes they're asking questions, showing interest, talking about coming to racing with their family. It just goes to show that most of the youth just needs some guidance. Anyway... I done type... enjoy the video 😎

Toyota Camry Day 2: The morning started at Bushy Park with the residents of the Government Industrial School for what was supposed to be a tour of the facility for an hour.... which quickly turned into a 3 and a half hour tour with lots of laughs and positive information but I will leave that for a separate video.

While the residents went back to the GIS school, I came to work and finished up the Camry. The cam cover gasket had to be replaced and then a test drive to make sure everything was good before handing it back to the customer. We go again tomorrow so stay tuned
