At Green Park you can park your camper van or put your tent in a shaded area at 2 meters from the river where you can both swim and fish, we are also equiped with various types of boats thus offering the opportunity TO RAFT on the river. 👉 NEARBY series – Blagaj, the Buna Spring and the Tekija 💧🏞️

Just a few minutes’ drive from GreenPark lies one of the most famous natural and historical sites in Herzegovina — the source of the Buna River in Blagaj, nestled beneath a towering cliff beside the famous Blagaj Tekija, a 16th-century dervish monastery.

Beneath a limestone cliff nearly 200 metres high, the Buna River spring emerges from a large karst cave, making it one of the most famous and beautiful karst springs in this part of Europe. The spring is known for its exceptionally cold and crystal-clear water, which stays around 10–11°C throughout the year.

What makes this place even more fascinating is the power of the spring itself. UNESCO lists the flow rate of the Buna spring at around 30 m³/s, while other sources mention approximately 43 m³/s, which is why it is often considered one of the most abundant karst springs in Europe.
The underground siphons of the spring add even more mystery to the site: divers have explored around 520 metres of underground channels, and the deepest explored point lies about 72 metres below the spring’s outlet.
