⚠️ In this lesson, I’m just demonstrating how effortless steering can be, not recommending that you drive using only one finger. I have over 35 years of driving experience, and this example is purely to show that when your elbows are relaxed and your grip is light, the steering wheel doesn’t require force. Over-gripping is one of the most common beginner mistakes and often leads to stiff, jerky steering.
For normal driving, you should always maintain proper control with both hands and a secure light grip. The “one-finger” demonstration simply highlights that smooth steering comes from technique, not strength.
