Elka shocks function very well, unfortunately they can spring leaks from the compression adjusters when they get a little older. Not a problem for us!

We overhauled this one with new shaft seals.and bushing, replaced every O-ring in the shock replaced the bump rubber then refilled with Maxima Racing Oils shock fluid and a fresh belly of gas.

About to install a linear link to this Triumph 765RS.

These bikes have a fairly poorly thought out rear suspension linkage to be honest. This can make it a little tricky to dial in to suit the riders needs. Linkage kits like this one from forsaken corrects many of the issues and allows us to build a bike that steers better, finishes corners better and takes the bumps in a far better way!

This ninja 400 had already been fitted with a GSXR600 shock unit - a very popular budget friendly modification! Whilst it offers a much much better performance than the OEM rear shock unit, it can still be improved considerably.

The stock GSXR shock has an excess of high speed compression damping and not nearly enough low speed rebound damping when fitted to the GSXR it came from, unfortunately these traits grow when fitted to the ninja 400.

Not to worry, we have plenty of runs on the board with this set up that we can reshim the shock and get it working far, far better!

This BMW F800 ESA shock developed a case of self sabotage! One of the oring that support the PDS bottoming needle had somehow managed to dislodge itself and end up in the rebound bleed port!? At least it was a simple fix! đŸ˜„
