Brand new turbo fitted to a 2017 Mercedes Benz CLA 220D

This one was roasted, making absolutely zero boost, and was bypassing so much oil it was blowing a cloud of blue smoke consistently. Working with Beenleigh Community Care and accepting NILs as a partial payment for the job we were able to get this customer back on the road for a fraction of not only the time, but price than any one else in the area willing to touch it.

The turbo had to be imported from Germany as it wasn't locally available!

Working Late into Thursday night and well into Friday morning, we got this job done in time for the customer to have the car for their weekend 😎

With a new turbo, full intake system clean, and a service package, this customer is back on the road feeling the POWER! 💪

Not afraid of a little German engineering here at BGM. We can handle anything you throw at us.

Harsh shifting, flaring or slipping in your GM/BMW Vehicle?

It's possible it isn't the high dollar repair bill you think it is.

These diaphragms inside the TEHCM module in the valve body frequently blow out and cause all those symptoms. Commonly misdiagnosed as a bad transmission/torque converter, turns into a cheap and easy fix.

This valve body came out of a VF Commodore, and after we were finished with it. It drives like a brand new car.

Hi everyone and well done for surviving the first week of the school holidays. I don't know about you guys but for me once these holidays are over the remainder of the year flies, but it's still too early to mention the 'C' word.

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend :) we had a quiet one, bit of breakfast at The Club Beaudesert then out to Wyaralong Dam for a look yesterday.

Did we all have a win in the AFL final?

Hi guys nearly there ... one more day to go and the first week of school holidays done. So far I have managed to survive the I'm bored and I want unscathed but let's see what the nect week brings. (The devil child I feel).

So this weeks topic is Engine Mounts. We have had a few come through the shop this week and some are like oh thats what that noise has been.

There are some signs that your engine mounts need replacing and on average you should replace your engine mounts when they reach 100,000 to 150,000 (roughly 5 to 10 years).

If you notice excessive vibration, clunking noises, engine movement and off course visual damage it's time to replace. Make sure you are replacing the set as once one fails the others are not that far behind.

If you have any of the signs listed above don't hesitate to drop by the shop so the boys can check for you. We would rather you pay for engine mounts then damage to surrounding parts from the engine not being secure as well.

Hi all and hello to another Monday. School holidays have started - Are all the mums and dads ready for those famous 4 words ... I'm bored and I want ...

Don't forget if your heading off on a drive somewhere to curb those 2 words to make sure your service is up to date and air in your tyres at the recommended psi.

Hi all - happy Tuesday :)

Just letting you all know a couple of changes to our working week this week.

Wednesday (tomorrow) we need to attend an important meeting that has just come up. This will most likely take most of the day. If this changes, we will let you know.

Friday we will definitely be closed all day as we will be on to Coast celebrating my mums / the boys nans 80th birthday with a whole family reunion. It's going to be good catching up with family that has travelled from Melbourne and we haven't seen for some time.

We apologise if this causes any inconvenience for anyone and we look forward to keeping your car on the road safely and as economically for you as possible.

Rear brakes on a Hyundai i20. Owner of the vehicle wanted to get them done before they were on metal (as you should)

And it's lucky they did as we found the slide pins for the caliper brackets hadn't been greased for years. Causing the pad to seize and cause uneven wear and a massive safety risk!

Allgood now, as everything is sorted for a price that doesn't make your eyes water.

Had an FG Falcon in for a set of engine + gearbox mounts, along with a reconditioned tailshaft and brakes all around. Its safe to say this thing drives way smoother.

Have a look at that centre bearing, wasn't even doing anything anymore. Mind blowing stuff. Rest assured everything has been sorted for reasonable money that doesn't leave you asking the bank for a loan for basic swap in/out items 🙂
