🫣 And she nearly didn’t even mention this to us...

We had this Hilux in for a routine service, and just as the customer was about to leave, she mentioned a slight noise she’d occasionally been hearing - one she was pretty sure was nothing.

Spoiler: it was definitely not nothing. 😳

We narrowed the noise down to the strut assembly area and, on disassembly, found that the strut top had worn right through to the strut itself and was bloody close to letting go! 🥵

Luckily, we were able to get it repaired, replaced and back on the road within 24 hours. 🙌

This is why it’s so important to always mention those odd noises, lights, clunks and bumps you hear, see or feel to us - even if you think it might just be nothing!

We never think you’re silly, and the more information we have, the more comprehensively we can investigate what’s going on.

Sometimes it’s nothing. Sometimes it’s something.
But it’s always worth mentioning! 👌

👋🏼 A little reintroduction of sorts, from the faces behind Upton’s.

For those who may not know us yet - Hi! We’re the family behind Upton’s Service Centre in Yandina. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🔧

We’re a family-owned and operated business, and while we might be the ‘new’ owners of Upton’s, we certainly aren’t new to the automotive industry! Between us, we bring over 20years of experience across the automotive and customer service sectors - and we’ve brought that experience together with one pretty simple goal: to do the job properly, be honest with our customers and always stand behind our workmanship.

We’re incredibly lucky to have such a bloody great team around us, too. Our crew bring plenty of knowledge, experience and personality to the workshop every day (and probably hear us say “just one more thing” far too often 😂).

Taking over Upton’s has been such an exciting chapter for our family. We’ve absolutely loved meeting so many of Upton’s long-term customers, hearing the stories and seeing familiar faces continue through the doors… while also getting to know so many new customers and families from around the local community.

We genuinely love what we’re building here, and we’re so grateful for the support we’ve already received. ❤️
