Buchanan's Moana Gold getting the job done at Port Macquarie Race Club yesterday bringing up her 14th win for the season. The stable ending the 2025/26 with a flurry, posting six wins since March 28🏇

's Nacim Dilmi heads to Eagle Farm tomorrow, chasing black type with I Am Carrot 🤞

IT’S Brisbane and not Sydney for talented three-year-old I Am Carrot tomorrow.

And his Race Club trainer Nacim Dilmi is changing tack with travel plans trying to have him “spot on” for the 1600m Group 3 Gunsynd Classic at Eagle Farm.

“I normally send my horses to Brisbane on Wednesday nights when they are racing there on Saturdays,” Dilmi said.

“But I’m trying something different & didn't send I Am Carrot north until last night..

“His trackwork rider Brooke went with him, and I will fly to Brisbane today.”

Dilmi explained that I Am Carrot didn’t settle in really well when he sent him to Brisbane a fortnight ago when he ran ninth in a 1400m BM85 at Eagle Farm as a well-supported $3.20 second favorite.
