There’ll be racing at the track tomorrow… but it won’t be the horses doing the running! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Best of luck to all the Kings, Queens & little champions tackling the 2026 Wycheproof King of the Mount.

The new 21km event will take runners to the lush surrounds of the Mt Wycheproof & District Race Club as part of the half marathon course. Claire, Lou & Dave have been busy this morning mapping out the course (and were pretty impressed by the condition of our track one month out from Cup Day - onya Max!).

What a fantastic weekend for Wycheproof - we'll see you out there cheering on the competitors and enjoying the AFL grand final at the park 👑👏

How's this view of the lush surrounds of Mt. Wycheproof & District Racecourse on the first day of Spring - captured from the Wycheproof Wetlands walking track.

And what better way to welcome the new season than with the promise of Spring racing? Thanks to some welcome winter rain, our track is already looking green and in fantastic shape for the season ahead.

Elders Mt. Wycheproof Cup - Derby Day in the Country - is on the horizon and Race Day packages are now on sale. https://country.racing.com/mt-wycheproof/calendar/mt-wycheproof-cup

From the first race to the last cheer... 🐎🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us trackside on Saturday for what was an absolutely cracking Elders Mt. Wycheproof Cup.

We’ve got plenty of amazing photos to share over the coming days but, while we catch our breath, enjoy this highlight reel captured by Blake Lee Photography. We think it captures the vibe perfectly 🙌🐎💃✨️🥂🎉🌾
