To help make your inspection as smooth as possible, here's a quick checklist of some of the general safety items we inspect:

✔️ Tyres & brakes
✔️ Steering & suspension
✔️ Lights & indicators
✔️ Windscreen & wipers
✔️ Seatbelts & seats
✔️ Body & chassis condition
✔️ Engine & driveline
✔️ Exhaust system
✔️ Vehicle identification

Before your appointment, it's worth checking that all your lights are working, your tyres have good tread, your windscreen isn't damaged, and there are no obvious fluid leaks.

Remember, a Queensland Safety Certificate is a safety inspection—not a full mechanical service—but making sure these basic items are in good condition can save you time and the need for a reinspection.
