Full-Time Retail Auto Parts Sales Assistant position available

Location: Shop 2 97 Archer Street Woodford

About Us
We are a proud, family-owned and operated retail auto parts business. For 29 years, we have been servicing our community by providing quality parts and service. We pride ourselves on our friendly, no-nonsense customer service. We treat our team like family and are looking for a reliable Sales Assistant to join us full-time.

The Role
You will be the face of our store, helping DIY enthusiasts, everyday drivers, and local mechanics find the exact parts they need. This is a hands-on role combining customer service with inventory management.

Your daily responsibilities include:
Assisting customers at the counter and over the phone.
Using electronic parts catalogues to look up components.
Recommending correct parts, tools, and accessories.
Receiving stock, unpacking deliveries, and merchandising shelves.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe storefront.

What We Are Looking For
Solid automotive knowledge (knowing your way around a car will be appreciated).
Great people skills with a helpful, patient attitude.
Basic computer literacy to use our point-of-sale and parts lookup systems.
Physical fitness to lift and move heavy parts (batteries, drums of oil, etc.).
Reliability and punctual
Previous retail or trade experience is highly regarded but not essential.
