PART 2:

Ford Cortina TC Mark 3
Originally the colour of choice was not my style, however the original 1970’s Ford colour ‘Tropicana Green’ quickly grew on me as it hit the perfectly finished panels.
The Cortina has now returned to its owner for final fit up and will return for a polish before full time road duties!!

PART 1:
Ford Cortina TC Mark 3
This vehicle came in sand blasted and epoxy primed ready for bodywork and paint…. Or so we thought!
Preferably we would bare metal a car ourselves to know exactly what issues needed tending to, however not the case with this Cortina so we got to work. It came with many surprises along the way to get the body arrow straight showcasing the awesome curves and widened rear hips of the Mark III. In this post you will see 3 stages of body work and in the next post is paint stage… make sure to check out Part 2….

This was a fun one!! Ford Falcon XR6 utility in for repairs and colour change.

MR Bodyworx has been busy over the past 2.5 weeks giving this neglected 2021 Fuso Canter a new lease on life for the team at Boyds.
All panel beating was completed before being painted in Valspar Industrial mix for a high performance and durable coating ready for its upcoming workload. The interior was completely removed with each part being individually cleaned and coated before final install.
Finally we finished it off with an intense clean of the chassis before being sprayed in HB Underbody Spray. Thanks to the team for a fantastic result!!
