🚀Isn't it amazing how when you do the job right, outcomes are great🚀

Ned wanted his Hilux to be the ultimate in terms of reliability. Having heard stories about his year model and injectors, he bought his car in for a $150 diagnosis.

⛔ Injector feedbacks were upto 4.1mm³
✅ Relative compression results within 3%
⛔ The tune was garbage

So we hatched a plan.

✅ Full set of brand new genuine injectors fitted with...
✅ Genuine fuel lines
✅ New genuine SCV
✅ Full genuine fitting kit
✅ Full intake gasket set and new map filter
✅ Full intake manifold clean out
✅ Basic tune ith factory torque limiters removed - maintaining Toyota settings for boost and fueling numbers

The result. Injector feedbacks at most 0.3mm³

Car runs mint and goes well.

Was not cheap at roughly $4.5k drive in drive out, but this thing will be around for many more years to come.

So with me in Hobart for my son's sport, we may have made a small error with our holidays planning haha

There will only be one of us at the shop tomorrow, and we will NOT be able to ship goods.

We will be on the phones if needed, but can't ship. So please order today or Monday!

Thanks

Thinking your Denso injectors might have suffered from contamination?

Here's some helpful hints

After a family situation, we've had to make today up to Procheck Automotive a day trip limiting what we could bring on the plane. But still come out, the guys here have put on a great show.

Not all fuel filters are created equal.

A lot of people ask, “What micron is that filter?”

Fair question. But it is only half the story.

A filter might be rated at 2 micron, 10 micron or 30 micron — but that does not tell you how much contamination it actually stops. That comes down to filter efficiency.

And on modern common rail diesels, that matters.

Tiny particles, water, rust and dirty fuel can do serious damage to high-pressure fuel pumps and injectors. These parts run at huge pressure with extremely tight tolerances, so poor filtration can get expensive very quickly.

The big thing to understand is this:

Your fuel system is not just using fuel once. Diesel is constantly moving through the system, with unused fuel often returning back to the tank. That means good filtration is also helping clean the fuel over multiple passes.

That is why fuel quality, water separation, filter efficiency and correct servicing all matter — especially if you tow, tour, fill up in remote areas or rely on your 4WD every day.

Do not just ask, “What micron is it?”

Ask:

✅ How efficient is the filter?
✅ Does it separate water?
✅ Is it suitable for my vehicle’s fuel flow?
✅ Is it installed correctly?
✅ Is my fuel actually clean?

Clean fuel protects expensive parts.

Dirty fuel can destroy them.

We’ve put together a full blog explaining fuel filtration, fuel polishing, micron ratings and why modern diesel fuel systems need proper protection.

So I'm heading up to the legends at Procheck Automotive to talk to end users and talk all things Diesel and Injectors.
Genuine question - what is it that you all think I should bring and talk about?
