Absolutely STOKED to be attending WTAC this year with Red Rebel Racing and sending it in Clubsprint🥳🥳🥳

I'll be in the pits, doing anything I can to help James smash out another SMSP PB and fly the flag for 86 and BRZ bois everywhere 💪💪💪

I'm waiting to hear back on my request to be in control of the tuning laptop so we can send the Pro Speed Racing Turbosmart equipped FA20 to the mf'ing🌕🌕🌕

I'll let you guys know when we've confirmed our garage number because we absolutely expect you to stop by, say hi, grab a sticker or something and share in the hype that is World Time Attack Challenge

Before the boys and I sit down and crunch the numbers, if you know of any sprint/time attack s-chassis please link it below or message us direct if you'd prefer.

Aero, wide (295s/slicks) sequential, tower to tower, BBK, log book, dry sump/well sorted motor etc.

Rollers fine too but ideally only missing motor and box at most.

I've seen these two already, chats underway.

Serious post, I'm stuck guys - plz help 🙏

Every time I go to work on the Silvia I cannot shake the feeling like I might be making a mistake putting all this time, money, and energy into this chassis - the 86 is already over 2s faster at Winton, yes better tyres help, but that's NA vs boost and 60-65rwkw down on where the Silvia was 😓

I asked this question over on Professional Awesome forum a while back, the post is quoted below, responses were mixed - https://tinyurl.com/s13vs86

"If all other things were equal (power - assume at least 400-450rwkw/box/brakes/weight more or less/brand and model of shocks, cage in both) and the driver is comfy in either , which is going to be the faster Time Attack chassis?

It's time to get serious though, I either have to send the S13 off for a full cage and commit or I sell that chassis and we seriously look at putting the SR into the 86? I really dislike the FA, so adding boost to that doesn't interest me and I've already got the SR here (rather than go get K series etc).

I did also consider finding an S15 roller/complete car instead, and there's some around, but they're not cheap and arguably the 86 is still the stiffer/more modern geo chassis?

If I did try and put the SR into the 86, starting with something like ke conversions kit, I may not go full ham the cage and instead just get a state/national spec AGI or similar to save having to send the car interstate for a cage - everything I've read/am told tells me the S13 really needs that full weld in, especially on big size A050s or slicks and the 86 may go faster for same effort.

Help me out here , I'm very torn😅

Testing each of the Zoo Performance products I received from Declan is now complete and damn, I have been living in the dark ages 😅

I am FULLY converted to Microfiber towel 😍 It has made my favourite chamois obsolete. Soaks up water like mad and makes drying heaps faster, a mate was excited about it being "dual sided" whatever that means 🤷‍♂️

The wheel cleaner did a fantastic job reducing the amount of elbow grease needed to get those rims to pop and the strawberry scented ceramic coating is just excellent - spray on, wipe off and you're done, took like 10 minutes and look at that shine 👌

Ceramic coat got a test today after I got back from the track day, water from the cloth beading nicely and bugs just wiping straight off - this will go straight on the missus VW which has the softest stickiest clear I've ever seen 🤝

Always love having a poke around an AWDCC track day at logic, good vibes & great variety of cars 👌

Including;

- Twin Turbo V8 8HP S13
- Cool Integra, but with a very sad motor
- 80s Corvette eating grass
- Crisp AF VL Calais turbo

Glorious weather for lap times, but no NCR 86 as I don't wanna risk wrecking the current setup until I get back to Winton 😅

If I was to bite the bullet and go 18x11s would someone wanna swap me for these brand new Koya 18x10 +0 SF01s wrapped in 260 slicks???? I'm thinking I do wanna have the option of a 295 A050 and 10" isn't recommended.

I contemplated keeping them as spares/wets etc but I need to work the body kit sizing around the wheel/tyre size.

OK results are in on the fully scientific rubber remover test and I am pretty pleased with the outcome, check that shine 😍

- WD-40, No good, but I think someone said that was more about prevention anyway? 🤷‍♂️

- Brake cleaner is definitely an excellent rubber remover and might "just" be the most powerful of the 3, but leaves the paint feeling "gritty" if that makes sense? Like, not smooth, after application and dull in the area? 🤔

- The Zoo Performance stuff is almost as powerful as the brake cleaner, but holy s**t the shine/smoothness afterwards is fantastic. I ended up cleaning off the T10 wall tap marks and just going around the whole car to spruce it up because the result was that good 👌

Instructions do say leave to soak for 20s but I was just spraying on and buffing off immediately and it was doing a solid job, leave to soak for tougher areas though.

I also gave the snow foam a whirl, and yes the bubblegum smell is very good 😅 It's definitely better than the Meguires shampoo I had been using and helped lift 2 weeks of grime off the Missus car, which has notoriously sticky paint - this was just a foam and rinse, no wash as I knew we had a week of rain coming.

The mix ration is quite high, 15:1? so you barely use any but add a touch more if you like thicker suds that sit on the car longer, pics were on max soap mix for my snow foam gun.

Very keen to give that microfibre towel a try next when the rain stops and everything gets a proper wash.

I gotta say, the Crown doesn't "quite" handle like what I'm used to through T5 though 😅
