Day 7 on the road, and tourism has been the topic of conversation everywhere we've been.

While in Winton, had a great chat with Lydia from The Royal Theatre: Winton Movies Inc. There is so much to explore out here, and it's important people come and see it for themselves.

The roads are open. There's plenty of fuel. So get out here and support the local attractions, pubs and economy that keep these towns going.

Corfield and Fitzmaurice is an iconic part of Winton's history. The heritage listed building evokes memories of yesteryear with its beautiful facade and design. Inside, you can look through their museum with fossil displays, information on Winton's wool industry, and opal mining.

Additionally, the building contains Combo Arts and Crafts - a space where locals can display their handicrafts, artworks, and other goods. It's an excellent place to pick up a souvenir of your time in Winton!
