Once again, teamwork makes the dream work.

3rd outright in the final race (and overall for the weekend), 1st in Floorpan class and a default 1:38.1 pb was a good first outing for the new motor. Massive thanks to the guys who helped crew the car for the weekend (plus Alex Batchelor who's always there in spirit).

One more for the year with ASSA at Island Magic and as always plenty to do before then!

Unfortunately things were deemed too wet today and with a red flag on lap 1 of our qualifying the day was called off. With a new schedule tomorrow we've got a qualifying in the morning and 2 races in the afternoon, after changing a diff centre yesterday (thanks to Brett Dickie Racing for the help troubleshooting) we should be ready to send it.

Ripper weekend up in Sydney - struggled a bit in race 1 but moved forward in races 2 & 3, taking out 1st in Floorpan and 3rd overall for our ASSA championship, and in the middle of a busy National grid. Default PB in the 1:37's has me quite happy for the LS1's first visit there and some awesome dicing with the other S chassis fellows as well.

Massive thanks to the crew of guys with me, car was turned around like clockwork and even had Alex Batchelor join us down from Qld for the weekend who helped get the flame tune popping for the night races.

Massive thanks to Tas and his family at AUTOHAUS VEHICLE STORAGE & Palace Automotive, and the guys at Proloom Motorsport for all the support this year.

For once we've got a bit of time up our sleeves before our next round in October so let's see what upgrades we can get done before then!

All bumped in at Sydney Motorsport Park for our combined Nationals, NSW and ASSA meeting with over 30 cars entered!
