📢 Current 2026 Championship Point Standings for Manning Valley Kart Club Drivers !!

Be sure to check out our pinned post regarding the Championship Rules: Rules.https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1LugKKoXsx/

But as a quick reminder:

✅️ You must have YES in both columns to be eligible for Club Championship Trophies.

✅️ You must race a minimum of 3 rounds

✅️ Best 4 rounds count (drop a round)

✅️ You must become a MVKC by our last round

🆘️ Need help getting the YES in your Volunteer Day Column .... send us a message, we can work out how you can qualify if you have not been able to make it to a working bee day yet (we have plenty of days & ways you can help out your club and still qualify for the Championship).

📝 Overall Senior & Junior Champions will be determined by highest points from the senior & children's class with the most entrants across the 5 rounds... currently our Tag Restricted Light are leading the way for seniors and our Novice & Rookies are going into round 5 tied as the largest children's class .... we wonder who will be our 2026 Champions 🏆 🥇

Let us know if you notice any abnormalities!!

A HUGE thank you to the 13 members who came out and gave us a hand over the weekend.

We got so much done, including ripple strip painting, burning off sticks, cleaning up around the canteen & workshop, pressure washing, mowing, whipper snipping, w**d spraying and so much more.

Without the help of our members, we could not have the facility that we do - so thank you to everyone who chips in and does their bit !!

We enjoyed a social night & well deserved dinner & drinks around the fire, after a hard day's work.

We wrapped up the weekend with a couple of come & try sessions before our helpers headed out on track themselves !!

Our next working bee will be saturday 17th October, the weekend before our Wingham 1000 Race Meeting- we would love to see some new helpers come on down to give us a hand that weekend too.

Thanks again everyone 🫶

Feel free to join us for an hour or 2, or why not make a weekend of it, and camp at the track & enjoy a social evening with some of our other members !
..Don't forget, to qualify for our club championship you will need to participate in a working bee or official duties at one of our race meetings.

Working Bee Weekend.

Please note that we will be closing the track for the weekend of the 26th-27th September for track works.

The track will be open on Sunday 27th, for our weekend helpers only. To qualify, turn up and help for a couple of hours either on the saturday or sunday, and you can practice on Sunday for FREE (or chose a different day to redeem your free practice, if you prefer).

We have plenty of jobs going on, big and small - come & help us to ensure that our track & grounds are maintained for our members & visitors to continue to enjoy.

We just have to share this !!

We have some pretty awesome members out here at Manning Valley Kart Club !!

One of our local endurance teams is using their love of karting & Motorsport to help raise money for Camp Quality 🫶

Well done to Endurance Racing Club for donating a portion of every entry at their upcoming round at Canberra Kart Racing Club.

Grant, who has been volunteering with Camp Quality for the past two years, had the children design & decorate the kart sticker kits, filling it with their creativity, courage and spirit.

Every lap driven wiill represent kids facing cancer and the incredible strength they show every day.

A message from Grant:

"I have been involved in motorsport and racing for more than 20 years, and it is something I am extremely passionate about. I wanted to find a way to give back to a cause that means a lot to me while doing something I love.

Every donation will help us raise more money for Camp Quality and the children and families they support.

I would love to use something I have been passionate about for more than 20 years — racing — to give something back and help make a difference to children and families who need it.

Laughter is the best medicine."

We will pop the fundraiser link in the comments, every donation, no matter how small will make a difference!!

Today we had 13 drivers participating in come & try sessions !! Some, who are already looking for their very own Kart, so they can get back out on track ASAP!!

Thank you to Ian, Tyler & Sean for running the day (and working hard keeping the karts running)! A massive effort, so thank you.

Also, a big thank you to our licenced drivers for their patience & understanding as we fit the sessions in between normal practice sessions. We all know though, that these days are an essential part of getting new drivers, which in turn creates more members, more entries and more helpers & officials.

If you are interested in organising to have a go before going out to purchase your own kart, send us a message and we will put you on our wait list for future come & try sessions. If you have reached out to us previously & have not recently heard back, please get back in contact with us.
