As we close the doors on the Willaston workshop, we are pleased to announce that our new workshop at 1 Eighth Street in Wingfield is ready to go and officially opening its doors on July 1st! It's been a massive couple of weeks but everyone has pulled out the stops to make this happen, including our tight-knit team of mechanics that helped with the move, and trades/family/friends that helped to decommission the old shed and set up the new shed, a huge thank you goes out to each and every one of you!
It's a surreal feeling knowing that exactly this time last year, I was finishing my last shifts being employed by another company and beginning my self-employed journey, working on my own out of my shed at home and out of my ute on site. Within 3 months, I had 1 lad working with me and we were moving into the Willaston workshop. 9 months after that, we have a team of 4 lads and have moved into Wingfield! Knowing that this rate of growth has happened with next to no advertising and purely relying on word of mouth from our clients must mean we've done something right. To those friends, family and valued clients that back us 100%, we thank you!
Moving forward with our new shed, this facility is a game-changer for us! We have the ability for truck/trailer access into the yard, a roller door high enough to fit trucks inside such as prime movers and rigids that require a high clearance, a 6.3 tonne 4 post hoist will be added to our existing fleet of 3x 4.5/5 tonne 2 post hoists. This additional hoist will be perfectly suited to safely and efficiently work on a wide variety of vehicles such as 4x4s, tradie utes with loaded canopies, motorhomes, small busses and small trucks.
We are always looking after our existing customers and are also welcoming new customers. We are specifically looking to service/maintain fleets that have multiple different vehicles/machines and are sick of taking them all to different places to get work done. These may include plumbers, electricians, landscapers, construction companies, concreters, arborists, just to name a few. We want to provide a service that becomes your one-stop shop for all your vehicles and machinery! We have been involved in the mining industry and understand how critical downtime is, so we work hard and provide solutions to ensure that downtime is minimalised or eliminated!
We service/maintain several large fleets, including stretch limousines, trucks/utes that transport rainwater tanks, several feedlots that have trucks, tractors, wheel loaders, excavators, skid steers, utes/4x4s, and motorbikes.
My personal experience comes from 10+ years in the industry, working at OEM companies such as Hitachi, JCB and Sandvik, and also working on CAT, Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, UD, Isuzu and a wide variety of cars, trucks, equipment outside of those brands.
Jackson has worked at OEM companies which sold/maintained cars such as Ford, Mazda and Isuzu, and has valuable knowledge and experience with several other manufacturers.
Harry and Zac are climbing the ranks as mobile plant apprentices and will learn everything we know. They are already excelling with their current knowledge from their own projects/learnings and what they've learnt with us. They will become great tradesman during their time.
So, that's us and that's what we do. If we can help with keeping your fleet on the streets or know someone that could benefit from our services, feel free to get in touch and we'll be happy to help!
