Finally installed the last sheets of iron & framed in the window. Just need the corner trim and MILO'S home is complete!!

The repairs to the boat port are nearly completed. Started replacingthe iron clading & I've fitted a glass sliding door as a window in the end of the port.

This is another waaay overdue job nearly finished. To install the transducer for the fish finder I had to cut a hole through the bottom of the boat (pic1) & make a cover (pic2). The transducer is mounted under the cover and is flush with the hull when the cover is screwed in place. (pic4&5) show the notch for the cable and the air vent.

The painting project continues... & as the saying goes, painting is 9 tenths preparation!! I've removed the side windows & door as well as the deck box lids, ready for painting.
Also started cleaning out the engine bilge which was filthy

This is a before & after set of pics. The paint covers really well, especially the mold stain. These panels are the seat & toilet base.

First post in absolute ages. MILO is undergoing a major cleanup and complete paint inside & out. The new colour will be 'hogs bristle' which is 'off white' lol I've started painting the seat panels which look really good.

It's been quite awhile since I updated the MILO home page... MILO is actually 12years old and the batteries have failed requiring replacement $250 each !! Ouch.!! I've got some wiring to do first before dropping, $500
