Something new and exiting for the GTR guys and just all round RB lovers!
We were lucky enough to have the exciting opportunity to play a small part in the machine work process of Platinum Racing Products new cast RB block.

It will definitely be interesting to see these in action which we can only assume won't be far off no🤞🙌

No sir, we do not just work on performance engines.
This 12L Mercedes Benz block came in for a line bore on all 7 semi finished cam bearings as they were all that was available.
We also corrected the main tunnel and brought it back to factory specs.

This billet 2jz block came in for a major repair job.
After removing all 6 liners, we discovered some damage to parent bore so we welded it up, re-cut all counter bores and ensured all parent bores were still straight and round for brand new sleeves.
After re-seating all 6 sleeves, decking the block and a torque plate hone, it’s ready for more boost 💪🏻

A couple of billet high end jobs going out to wrap up the pre christmas rush.

Another Ls cam tunnel repair job done.💪🏻

Most of the time, a cam bearing failure can result in server damage to the camshaft and even worse, the block itself. In most cases the block is considered a write off but there are alternative options especially when these blocks are getting harder to source.

This customer came to us with damage to the centre and no2 cam bearing housing.
We rectified the problem, installed the fresh new set of bearings, and gave the block a freshen up ready for the customer to get back together.

We had a billet 2jz block come in for a thrust repair and line bore over the weekend to meet a crucial deadline.
A quick turn around and a happy customer is what we love to see.

Just wrapped up machine work on a big build rb26 stroker that will be assembled with all the PRP goodies including integrated main tunnel brace, IRP pistons & rods and Callies crankshaft.
No doubt this will be an impressive build when finished.

We just finished up a roller cam bearing conversion on this big block ford.
A lot of time go into these but it’s well worth seeing the finished product go out the door.

We were asked to oversize the crank case of an air cooled VW to suit big bore kit barrels.
