Tips & Tricks to avoid damage | Good Driveway Attendants!

Remember the good old days when you had petrol station driveway attendants…you know true driveway service with the works! You would pull the car up to the petrol bowser and out would walk the smiling service station attendant “Good morning, what would you like today?” he would ask. Your response would be something like “$20 worth of super please and can you check the tyres and oil?” “Certainly, Madam”. And away he would go – fuel, oil and tyres all done – and with a little extra customer service by way of a windscreen wash. These were the days…well a good carwash driveway attendant is just as invaluable and at JJ’s Carwash we take this added service to the next level. Our attendants are on site 7 days a week 9am – 5pm with a myriad of handy tips & tricks for you.

Always choose a carwash with good driveway attendants…check google reviews for the highest star rating to find them. They help with making your visit to the carwash easy by directing traffic, interpreting the different wash cycles, keeping the facilities beautiful and clean for you. Along with all that and more we provide the added service of washing your tyres with a smile and providing advice on best carwash practices.

Tips & Tricks to avoid damage | WAXING!

Frequently washing and waxing your vehicle is the best way to maintain its exterior paint finish for years to come — but only as long as you're using the right products in the correct order.

Commercial automatic and self-serve carwashes only use products that are specially formulated to work gently on the clear-coat paint finishes found on every car built since the 90’s. At JJ's Carwash we are experts and do not scrimp on product to economise or short change our customers.

Washing: These products are pH-balanced and formulated to loosen and lift surface contaminants without stripping away waxes.

Waxing: These waxes protect from the sun and the external environment along with providing sheen to the car’s finish. For protection, you need to apply a car wax regularly and experts recommend this be done weekly at a carwash.

How long a wax lasts on Car A is not necessarily true for how long it lasts on Car B…so regular washing and waxing is the best for maintaining your car/s beautiful finish.

Tips & Tricks to avoid damage | TOUCHFREE IS BEST!

All modern cars, use a "base/clear" system with a thin, transparent layer of clear coat on top of the underlying colour coat. Once this thin clear coat is damaged, often the only way to restore the shine is to repaint the damaged area.

Some carwashes are still using abrasive brushes, which leave small scratches in a car's finish...resulting in a dull finish over time. A safe bet is a TOUCHFREE carwash, using only high-pressure water jets and high quality detergents to clean the car – without physically touching the car's paintwork.
