⚠️ Important Notice to Our Customers & Community
This is a message to clear up some confusion that has been occurring over the past month regarding similarities between our store and another local store operating under a new name. When we first became aware of their name change, we could see the confusion immediately and voiced our concerns privately with their team. The confusion is now occurring, so we are here to set the record straight!
We want to make it clear that Ballarat Battery Service is not affiliated, owned by, or partnered with Ballarat Batteries.
Over the past month, we’ve had customers contact us asking whether we have moved locations, opened a second location, or whether this business is connected to us. This has now become a daily occurrence, and these are only the instances we are being made aware of once customers actually reach our store and explain the confusion to us.
We’ve also become aware of people being directed elsewhere while believing they were supporting us, or expecting the same level of service, experience, and professionalism they know from Ballarat Battery Service.
We wish their team all the success they can earn, but we also want to make sure our customers and community are clear on who they are referring people to, as we cannot control experiences at other locations and would hate for our customers/people being referred to experience anything other than our level of professionalism and service we have built our name on.
For anyone recommending our business, please be careful not to refer to us as “the boys at Ballarat Batteries,” as many of our customers naturally have over the years. That name will now direct people elsewhere. If you are referring someone to us, please send them to 821 Howitt Street, Wendouree - Mention the BRIGHT YELLOW shop to avoid further confusion with another battery store on Howitt st 😂
To be clear:
We have not moved.
We are not operating from any other location.
We are still proudly located at 821 Howitt Street, Wendouree.
The good news is, we will soon be transitioning to:
ROBSON BATTERIES
This will make our identity much clearer and help remove any confusion for customers moving forward. It also ensures we are a clearly named business that cannot be similarly named or mistaken for another local battery store.
We also have some very exciting news of our own dropping in the next week, so stay tuned.
But again, we remain exactly where we have always been:
