Your diff is whining, the truck isn't driving right, and you've got a big trip coming up.

You're pretty sure it's the diff, which is the gearbox in the axle that splits drive to your wheels and lets them turn at different speeds. When it starts going, you hear it and you feel it, and it only gets worse from there. The last place you want it letting go is halfway through a long haul.

So you book in. We strip it down to see exactly what's going on and quote you on the spot, then rebuild the diff properly, replacing what's worn and setting it up right.

You're losing oil and you've got no idea where from. All you know is it's coming from underneath the front of the engine.

It leaves a puddle wherever you park, and oil sitting near a hot engine is a fire waiting to happen.

Finding the source is the hard part. An oil leak can run and drip a long way from where it actually starts, so it takes proper investigation to pin down.

That's where we come in. We bring the truck up, track the leak back to where it's really coming from, and quote you on the fix before we go ahead.

Then we get you sorted and back on the road earning, instead of leaving a trail behind you.

A leak like this only gets worse, and it's not worth the fire risk. If you're finding puddles under the front of your engine, book it in.

This engine came in running heavy at idle but fine up high, and when we stripped it there was no obvious cause.

So we kept looking. One piston had melted around the gudgeon pin, which meant something was getting it hot. The trail led to the oil squirter that cools the piston, and its valve was sticky on two cylinders.

At idle it wasn’t sending enough oil to keep the piston cool, which is exactly when it cooked.

We always find out why an engine failed, not just what failed. That’s what stops it happening again.

One of the things we love doing at Webbie's has nothing to do with trucks. It's our courses teaching people about their own vehicles.

This photo is from our Her Car Confidence course, where we're showing the girls how to change a flat tyre.

We start by letting the tyre down so it's a real flat, not a pretend one. Then they gather their tools and spare, crack the nuts, jack the car up, change the tyre, pump up the spare, and torque the wheel nuts once it's back on the ground.

By the end they've done the whole job themselves, start to finish.

We run these courses because everyone should feel confident around their own vehicle, and there's no better way to get there than doing it with your own hands.

No one lYou pull up on the side of the road and all you can hear is gushing air.

You've got an air leak, the kind of thing that can stop you in your tracks.

So you go hunting around the truck and find the culprit, an airbag. It's part of your suspension, and when one splits it dumps air fast.

You blank it off to stop the leak, which is a quick fix to get you moving, and bring it straight to us.

We swap the airbag out, check all the others while we're there in case another is on its way, and get you back on the road in no time.

An air leak like this rarely gives much warning, so getting it sorted properly the first time matters. If yours lets go, blank it off and come see us.
