This October is Small Business Month and we’re celebrating local small business in our region all month long.

Maxwell Spray Works in Wellington was first established in 1948. Dave Sears, the current owner of the business, started as an apprentice panel be**er in 2004 and bought the business in 2011.

Maxwell Sprays Works provides all smash repairs from car park dents to major smash work. After moving location in 2019, they have invested in leading industry technology, equipment and training.

Dave said being a local from Wellington and continuing a well-established business and expanding was a great opportunity.

“I love the Wellington community, we have a sense of pride to shop local to keep our town thriving. It gives small businesses opportunities to put on local apprentices and staff, sponsor our Wellington sporting teams and keep our local economy strong.
