Welcome to 2026.
I have often suggested to drivers the importance of checking with your instructor before committing to a date and time for your test.
It has now become even more important to make sure your instructor is available before making that appointment.
VicRoads, in their infinite wisdom ( sarcasm )have decided, in Warragul at least, to no longer conduct tests on Tuesdays or Thursdays, thereby cramming a weeks worth of assessments into 3 days.
We are already seeing some serious overlaps with learners booking online without consulting their instructors, resulting in a situation where we have to change the test date ( another fee to VicRoads ) or advise the learner to supply their own car.
