Massive weekend of racing done and dusted for Team SpeedCraft!
Trophies, crazy weather conditions, and some bad luck all in the mix at times, but we couldn’t be prouder of the end results.
At one end of Victoria, we were at Winton Motor Raceway for VMRC Round 5, and the final round of Super TT Victoria for 2026.
Josh Lowing had a strong weekend aboard the Subie, walking away with 2nd in class for the round, punching well above our weight yet again and continuing the development of the car leading into 2027! 🥈
Was also absolutely fantastic to see some of Josh’s sponsors making the long trek up to Winton to be a part of the fun and see what it’s all about!
On the other side of the garage, the weekend saw Cooper Ross make his circuit racing debut, but the dream weekend unfortunately wasn’t to be, with a couple of issues leading to a retirement from the event on Saturday, despite this though, there was no shortage of good battles and promising speed to carry with him into 2027.
We’re looking forward to seeing Cooper back amongst it soon, showing off what we know he can do in his beaut little MX-5 💪
And at the other end of Vic for Round 5 of Trophy Tour Vic we were stoked to see Tay Allen 🤎 back in the mighty Honda Civic after a pretty extensive repair job following her last time out at Sandown, and what a way to return to the track!
Torrential conditions on Saturday lead to the day being eventually cancelled, but only after Taylah steered her way to a very commanding class pole position, and once racing resumed on Sunday, she clean swept all races, winning her class in her first ever races at the Island…. outstanding work Taylah! 🏆
The team here at SpeedCraft are proud to see our youngsters thriving across the board!
But for now…. we’re back to work!
