Here’s an example of what not to do.
This housing was brought to us to inspect as its owner couldn’t figure out why he had so much castor. (Purchased vehicle and going through some things needed attention by the way)
On very quick glance we noticed that the front of the radius arm mounts had been removed and relocated, then our brace plates put over to help join it back together.
Now, don’t get us wrong, we are all for people having a go! But reckon you could at least get the plates on the appropriate locations!
After further inspection we found the diff to be very bent, and the mating surface for the third member was questionably flat! So the customer decided to scrap the whole diff and just start again.

Like we said, we love seeing peeps have a go! But if you need help, ask! This kind of thing isn’t what we really want to see get done!
