SOLD & BOUGHT
After 13 years of owning our HDT Commodore from brand new, we’ve officially said goodbye. It’s been an incredible chapter, but the time felt right for something fresh.
In its place, we’ve welcomed a completely custom 2005 Subaru Forester into the family. This is actually the first time I’ve ever bought a car that someone else has already modified to their vision. Every car I’ve owned before has been bone stock when it came to me—I’ve always built them up exactly how I thought they should look, enjoyed them, and eventually moved them on. It’s been rewarding to still see many of those cars out there, proudly driven by their new owners.
But this Forester is different. All the hard work, dedication, and vision came from Jasmine, and I feel genuinely honoured to take the reins. I absolutely love what she created and fell in love with this car the second I saw it. My goal now is simple: give it the same level of care, love, and respect it deserves, while making only a few subtle touches to put my own spin on it.
Of course, this is also now the Diamond Detailing Perth shop car—something that stands out, represents the business, and gets people talking. So much respect to Jasmine for everything she poured into it—I’m excited to continue the journey and keep this build alive and evolving.
