2008 Holden Commodore | Tailshaft Repairs 🔧

This Commodore was in the workshop for replacement of the centre tailshaft bearing, followed by balancing of the tailshaft assembly.

A worn centre bearing or unbalanced tailshaft can cause vibrations, noise and driveline issues.

2015 Toyota Hilux | Rear Axle Repairs 🔧

As part of other repairs being carried out on this Hilux, our team replaced the rear wheel bearing, axle seal and rear axle shaft.

The process involved removing the rear axle assembly and using our workshop press to complete the bearing replacement.

Your spare tyre is easy to forget about… until you’re stuck on the side of the road and actually need it. 🛞😬

Usually tucked away under the floor of your boot, spare tyres can slowly lose pressure over time without you even realising.

A few things worth checking:
🛞 Is the spare actually holding air?
💨 Is it inflated to the correct pressure?
📅 How old is the tyre?
🔧 Is the jack and wheel-changing equipment there and usable?

A little service-day tip too: if your spare is located under the boot floor, clearing out your boot before bringing your car in makes it much easier for our mechanics to access and check it as part of the service. 🙌

It only takes a little preparation, but you’ll be very glad you checked it if you ever need it!

This is your reminder to check your tyres before they get to this point 😬🛞

There’s more to tyre condition than just tread depth. Tyre age matters too — rubber deteriorates over time, even if the tyre still looks like it has plenty of tread left.

Keep an eye out for:
🛞 Cracks, bulges or signs of delamination
📏 Uneven or excessive tread wear
💨 Incorrect tyre pressures
📅 Tyre age and date codes
⚠️ Changes in vibration, handling or road noise
