We now arrive at Horsham, so excited for what this place has to offer! Gorgeous scenery, amazing roads and a vibrant, bustling community to meet.

We're excited to learn more about Horsham, starting with some of the facts below.

The Wotjobaluk People: Before European settlement, the Wotjobaluk people inhabited the land around Horsham for thousands of years. Their deep connection to the land is reflected in the region's indigenous heritage sites, artwork, and cultural events, which continue to be celebrated and respected today.

The Horsham Botanic Gardens: Spanning over 18 hectares, the Horsham Botanic Gardens is a verdant oasis in the heart of the town. Established in the late 19th century, these gardens boast a diverse collection of native and exotic plants, tranquil walking paths, and picturesque picnic spots, making it a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.

The Horsham Murals: Horsham is adorned with a series of captivating murals that adorn the town's walls and silos, telling stories of its history, culture, and community spirit. Created by talented local artists, these murals add color and character to Horsham's streetscape, inviting visitors to explore and discover the town's artistic soul.

The Horsham Sheep Show: Every year, Horsham hosts the Horsham Sheep Show, a lively event celebrating all things woolly. From sheepdog trials and shearing demonstrations to wool crafts and fashion shows, it's a must-visit for animal lovers and wool enthusiasts alike.

A little late I know but here we go Day 6 - Tumut to Narrandera via Holbrook Public School for lunch.
460kms was covered and brought us to the end of this year's rally. It was a big night to get the car ready to rally today but the boys came through and got it all fixed and the Volvo went really well and we zeroed the first three stages and only 2 early on stage 4 leaving us outright winners for the day. Unfortunately where’s Wally broke a bolt in the control arm and had to miss rally stage 3 and 4 but managed to get the car back to our house on the main roads and make the finish line in time in Vicks car to see everyone come in. Stayed tuned i will post results shortly.

And we have made it home !!!
