Mobile Dustless Blasting is the use of water, compressed air, Holdtight 101, media of many grades (size). Most common used is 40/70 crushed glass but other media's available are and not limited to: steel shot, garnet, plastic, soda, sand, walnut shells or crystal. Where applicable the use of Holdtight 101 rust inhibitor is to keep freshly blasted steels free of flash rusting and to hold the surfa
ce rust-free up to 72 hours. The use of water is what creates the "dustless" effect of the media, this means none to little containment needed, meaning parts or whole cars can be blasted safely in the backyard, shed, driveway almost any where thanks to the mobile DAM500 minimal PPE required and allowing it to be as ECO friendly as possible (free from silicosis). The water also serves the purpose as a surface cooling agent, the water will keep the blasted material surface 6 degrees bellow room temperature, unlike traditional which heats up the surface potentially causing heat warpage and or shrinkage usually in steel. The machine is capable of dry blasting, although that takes away the "dustless" effect. This machine may be used to media blast many applications such as Automotive, Marine, Heavy Machinery, Aeronautical, Concrete, Wood (of many textures), General Cleaning and much more.
