Not sure which fridge you need for your van or RV? That's what the showroom's for.

Upstairs at Underwood you can see the appliances running side by side and talk it through with people who repair these units every day — so you'll hear what actually lasts, not just what's on the box.

An older van doesn't have to be a tired van. We take on full caravan renovations and restorations at Underwood — repairing water damage, replacing worn-out appliances, and bringing the inside and outside back to a standard you'd be happy to tow anywhere. Tell us what you've got and we'll quote it.

Our new appliance showroom is open upstairs.

The whole upstairs floor at Underwood is now a dedicated appliance showroom. Fridges, air conditioners, cooktops and combination units, hot water systems, diesel and gas heaters, all set up where you can see them properly and compare them side by side instead of guessing from a spec sheet.

Brands include Dometic, Thetford, Engel, Bushman, Vitrifrigo, Webasto and Evakool — and we're warranty agents for most of them, so if something does go wrong later, it's the same team looking after it.

Open now, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

A couple of things have changed this year, and it's left people driving to closed doors.

Coast to Coast at Meadowbrook moved to trade-only supply on 1 July, so they're no longer serving walk-in customers. Camec's Archerfield store closed permanently on Friday 28 August, after Camec was sold to Aussie Traveller. Both brands are continuing — you just can't buy them over the counter at those addresses anymore.

We stock both at Underwood, along with Dometic, Thetford, Fiamma, Carefree and Engel, and we're open to the public.

One thing worth knowing if you're chasing Camec: their online store is running about two weeks behind during the handover, and click-and-collect is paused. If you need a part this week, come and see us instead.

🌞Regent Weekender – Side Wall Rebuild & Composite Upgrade
This Regent Weekender came in with impact damage on the left-hand side, but once we opened it up, we found major hidden water damage through the right-hand side and bunk area. Much of the timber frame had rotted away, and sections of the rear wall were being held together by silicone.

We rebuilt the affected frame sections, installed new insulation, and fitted white composite panels with 600mm black checker plate for a clean, modern look. Both sides of the van were reclad and fully resealed, followed by a complete water test and independent electrical and gas checks.

The finished van looks brand new, and the owner was blown away by the transformation. This project took around 180 hours and is a great example of what’s possible when tackling structural repairs and cosmetic upgrades at the same time.
