💪 THIS ABSOLUTE MONSTER — SUPREME BASECAMP 💪

This beast came into the workshop for some insurance repairs, a full service & wheel alignment.

During our inspection, we found a seriously buckled mag wheel. After speaking with the customer, we found out this was actually the 4th wheel he’s had to replace! 😳

We’ve recommended making the move to a stronger Method mag wheel to help handle what this big rig is putting through its wheels.

And as for the wheel alignment… the results speak for themselves! 👌

Just another great example of why it’s so important to have your caravan regularly serviced and have the wheel alignment checked. Catching issues early can save you from expensive repairs, uneven tyre wear and potentially bigger problems down the road.

🚐💥 SUPREME CARAVAN – INSURANCE REPAIR & CUSTOM UPGRADE 🔧

This Supreme Caravan came into the workshop after suffering side impact damage, with the repairs being covered under insurance.

While we had it in the workshop, the customer opted to customise the look of the van. We took the opportunity to upgrade the height of the checker plate, giving it a whole new tougher appearance. 💪🔥

A great example of turning an insurance repair into an opportunity to give your van a bit of a custom makeover! 👌

🥶🔥 JAYCO STARCRAFT – READY FOR THE COLD! 🔥🥶

This Jayco Starcraft came into the workshop ready to get winter-ready, so we fitted a Webasto Air Top diesel heater to keep things nice and toasty when the temperatures drop! 🌡️🚐

We made the most of an otherwise unused space under the lounge, behind the drawer, keeping the installation neat while retaining valuable storage space.

We also custom-fitted the diesel tank into a tucked-away location so it doesn’t stick out like an eyesore on the van. 👌

Another neat, practical and professionally installed upgrade by the team at Ulladulla RV Repair Centre. 🔧💪

🚐 SNOWY RIVER CARAVAN – INSURANCE REPAIR 🔧

This Snowy River Caravan came to us after sustaining impact damage to the front propeller print, with the repairs being completed under insurance.

It’s also great to see Snowy River making improvements to their construction. 👌
The newer models have now moved away from the plywood corners in the composite walls, replacing them with a composite frame to further improve the structural integrity and lifespan of the caravan. 👍

At Ulladulla RV Repair Centre, we deal with ALL insurance companies and can take care of your caravan repairs from start to finish.

🚐 Another reason to get your caravan serviced every 12 months or 10,000 km — whichever comes first! 🔧

This PALM Caravan came in to us for some repairs, and while the boys were giving it a once-over, they noticed delamination starting to occur in the tyres 😳

The tyres were only 2 years old and had travelled just 7,000 km! Even more surprising, they’re a well-known and trusted tyre brand.

Luckily, our technicians picked it up before it became a much bigger problem. 👀

The customer has now taken the tyres back to the tyre shop to have them inspected and hopefully sorted under warranty.

👉 This is exactly why regular caravan servicing is so important. It’s not just about fixing what you already know about — it’s about finding potential safety issues before they turn into a roadside disaster.

Give your van a proper check-over every 12 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first.

🚐 Jayco Discovery – Wheel Alignment

This Jayco Discovery came in to us for a wheel alignment with J-Tech suspension.

Unfortunately, it was the same story again — there’s no camber adjustment available with this suspension setup. The right rear wheel was by far the worst, with the camber well out of where we’d like to see it.

While carrying out the inspection, we also noticed the right-hand side wheel bearings were extremely loose 😳. We adjusted the bearings back to the correct preload before completing the alignment.

We managed to get the toe settings corrected to help the van track as straight and safely as possible, despite the limitations of the suspension.

Another good example of why a proper wheel alignment is more than just checking the numbers — a thorough inspection can pick up issues that could otherwise be missed. 🔧

🚐 AVAN ASPIRE WHEEL ALIGNMENT 🔧

This Avan Aspire came into us for a wheel alignment, fitted with AL-KO Enduro Independent Suspension.

The driver’s side camber was well out of spec. We were able to bring it back down significantly, but unfortunately we ran out of adjustment before we could get it completely where it needed to be.

We made the maximum adjustment available to get the alignment as close as possible and improve the van’s tracking and tyre wear.

This is exactly why a proper wheel alignment is so important — it can identify issues that simply aren’t visible to the naked eye. 👀

Another van measured, adjusted and set up as accurately as the available suspension adjustment allows. 💪
