HAS Custom Metal Works is owned and operated by Paul Howman who established the business in Deniliquin NSW in 2002. Paul commenced his career as an apprentice automotive coach builder in late 1980’s learning all aspects of metal forming and finishing. From there, he went on to gain experience across varied locations including Perth. Being strategically located close to Airframe As

semblies, he was able to harness the opportunity to transition to Aircraft specialization. Through the partnership he capitalized on his experience to enhance his knowledge of materials and operating procedures. On his return to Australia, HAS Custom Metal Works was formed. An unused Butter Factory in Deniliquin was up-cycled and recruitment began. The company procured contracts with Department of Defence and other high end partners. With business growing, so did the capacity in tooling and expertise to provide custom support from one off parts to full production capability.
