Then JR Mechanical has a position for you. We are a family-owned business looking after a range of equipment from trucks, forklifts, loaders to everything in between. You will be dealing with major clients and supporting them at various locations throughout the region, so you will be self-sufficient
JR Mechanical is located in the lovely township of Tumbarumba located in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains of New South Wales. Situated approximately 5hrs from Sydney, Melbourne, and the south Coast. The Snowy valleys region is serviced by quality health, education and great community facilities making for an opportunity for a tree change with several hobbies to do e.g., winery, fishing, snowy fields, mountain bike riding, horse riding just to name a few.
The roles:
If you are a qualified Heavy vehicle or Plant/ag mechanic or Auto Electrician willing to do mechanical work with experience who would bring to the company your knowledge and experience a $100K + package available
Alternatively, if you have just finished school and looking for an apprenticeship or just finished an apprenticeship and/or light vehicle and are looking for a role that will give a variety of experience then this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
The person:
As an experienced mechanic you can work unsupervised, are trustworthy and honest. You have written, verbal and time management skills and are willing to share your skills with those who you work with.
Or you may have recently completed your qualification and be looking to apply the qualification and build your experience base.
Due to customer base the below is a must requirement for employment:
- Drivers Licence Class C or HR (Preferred)
- Forklift licence (willing to obtain)
- Able to pass a police check
- Willingness to undertake regular Drug and Alcohol screening
- Medical examination
