*New Product Alert*

𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙑𝙊𝙇𝙆

The VOLK module is a broadband (100–2,700MHz) radio signal suppression detector that reveals jammers (generators of radio frequency interference) used by criminals trying to steal the car. The module promptly alerts the owner and others via a siren or GSM device¹.

ᴋᴇʏ ʙᴇɴᴇꜰɪᴛꜱ:

Protection against false positives. VOLK easily detects any background urban interference: it differentiates between the signals of GPRS modules, 3G modems, and Wi-Fi routers, as well as satellite and TV antennas.

Protection will work only in the case of narrowly directed high-frequency interference. The broadband module detects radio interference ranging from 100 to 2,700MHz.

It turns on the siren¹ to draw attention of the owner, passers-by, and law enforcement authorities.

It has a status output for connecting an alarm system, GSM module, or other optional devices. It integrates with standard immobilisers, third-party alarm systems, and with AUTHOR's security modules.

It boasts a tiny size; it can be stealthily installed anywhere inside the car, and it is protected against dust, high temperature, and humidity.

(¹ɴᴏᴛ ɪɴᴄʟᴜᴅᴇᴅ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ ꜱᴇᴛ.)

During our own testing of the VOLK module against other trackers and/or jammer detectors, we found that VOLK offered a serious advantage over the others.

Whilst others certainly detected GPS jamming devices, they all suffered from one simple flaw. Most vehicles are stolen from homes or workplaces either whilst you are sleeping or hard at work. Usually, you are not overly far from the vehicle. This means that whilst thieves are using GPS jammers to steal your car, they are not only blocking your GPS Tracker, they are also blocking your mobile phone signal, meaning you will not actually receive an alert until the thieves have left with your car and your reception signal is restored. By this time, your car is gone and you have no way of tracking it.

With VOLK, we are able to regain control of the situation. By wiring in a loud siren along with VOLK, you will scare potential thieves using GPS jammers away before they even get to your car.

With the siren sounding, not only will they run, but you and anyone else nearby will be alerted to the attempt of theft, allowing you to act before your car is gone. VOLK can be installed on its own, or alongside any of the Author security products for added security.

We complicate stealing it.

We fitted an IGLA Alarm to this 2016 Holden Commodore VF SSV sedan for Kristian.

The IGLA Alarm gives you full immobiliser protection — no PIN, no start, with OBD-port blocking and anti-hijack shutdown — plus a complete alarm system on top. If a door, boot, bonnet or hatch is opened without authorisation, or if the accelerometer detects a knock, tilt or motion like being jacked up or dragged onto a tow truck, the battery-backup siren sounds even if the main horn is cut. The vehicle still can't be driven away without the owner's authorisation.

It's comprehensive protection that works in the background and doesn't interfere with how the car drives day to day.

Thanks for trusting us with the install, Kristian.

IGLA immobiliser to Anthony's 2017 Hilux SR5 — solid protection for a dual-cab that sees plenty of use and exposure.

The IGLA sits digitally inline and requires a unique PIN sequence before the engine will turn over. No PIN, no start. It also blocks the OBD port, which is where thieves typically plug in to clone keys or reprogram factory security.

Anthony also has anti-hijack protection active. If the vehicle is taken under duress, the system can shut down the engine once the situation is clear.

The SR5 remains completely standard from the outside. No extra buttons, no visible hardware, nothing to tip off anyone looking. It just won't be driven away without authorisation.

Thanks for trusting us with your Hilux, Anthony. Stay safe out there.
