Never Forget 1984 🖤

June 1984 marks one of the darkest chapters in Sikh history. During Operation Blue Star, the Indian state deployed military force inside Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), resulting in the deaths of hundreds—according to official figures—and possibly thousands, according to many Sikh organizations, independent researchers, and eyewitness accounts.

For many Sikhs, this was not merely a military operation but a state assault on their faith, identity, and community. The pain of innocent pilgrims, women, children, and devotees caught in the violence continues to echo through generations.

42 years later, the wounds remain unhealed.

We remember those who lost their lives.
We remember those whose voices were never heard.
We remember a tragedy that can never be erased from history.

No matter how history is debated, the suffering endured by Sikh families is real, and their memory deserves respect.
