Another front mould replacement completed! 👌

This Jayco Starcraft recently came into our workshop with stress fractures throughout the front plastic mould.

Over time, exposure to road vibrations, weather and general wear can cause plastic moulds to crack and deteriorate, affecting both the appearance and weather resistance of the caravan.

The damaged front mould was removed and replaced with a brand-new mould, restoring the van's clean finish and giving the front end a fresh new look.

A straightforward repair with a great result, and another customer ready to get back out and enjoy their next adventure with confidence.

This Jayco Lark came into us with a fresh side scrape down the passenger side of it, damaging the propeller plate, lower door, external trims, and fixtures! the team at J & S caravans removed all the damaged parts before replacing them with new!!

🚐 King's Birthday Long Weekend Closure 🚐

Another caravan brought back to life with a fresh front mould replacement!

This van came to us with multiple splits and cracks through the front mould, allowing potential water ingress and risking further structural damage if left untreated. After removing the damaged front mould & boot lid, we carried out a complete replacement to restore both the strength and appearance of the caravan.

The new front mould has been professionally fitted and finished, giving the van a clean, refreshed look while ensuring it’s sealed up and road-ready again.

What began as what we thought would be a quick rear wall freshen-up soon took a turn once we discovered several extensive water leaks hidden throughout the caravan. As the van was stripped back, it became clear the damage was far more widespread than first expected, affecting not only the rear wall frame and rear flooring, but also sections of the side and front walls.

Once all water-damaged materials were removed, the rebuild process began with repairing and replacing the affected framework and flooring to restore the van back to a solid structure. With the major repairs completed, the caravan was re-cladded in fresh white composite cladding, giving it a clean and modern new look. The customer decided to keep the finish simple and timeless by not reinstalling decals, allowing the crisp white cladding to speak for itself
