(LandCruiser experience highly regarded)

Certificate III Automotive qualification required

Strong Toyota experience (essential)

Minimum 1-2 years of Toyota experience required

Do you really need a catch can?

Its job is supposed to be "catching" oil v***r and blow-by before it enters your intake system and causes carbon buildup.

In reality, cheap catch cans and restrictive fitments cause excessive crankcase pressure—leading to blown main seals, severe oil leaks, popped dipsticks, blocked turbo drains, and turbo seal failure.

Intake sludge and restricted power come down to managing what gets fed back into your intake manifold 😉

Once that's taken care of, professional valve cleaning, unrestricted PCV flow, and custom ECU remapping will go much further in getting the most out of your engine.

Ready for more than just towing a caravan 💪

This is a deadly combination incorporating fresh Bilstein B60 upgraded struts with heavier-duty upper & lower control arms.

Whilst struts and springs are a worthy upgrade, control arms are definitely worth a mention for any IFS vehicle.

These will help maintain wheel geometry and alignment that usually goes out the window with most lifts, whilst heavier lower control arms fitted with fresh bushings and heavy-duty ball joints handle increased suspension travel and off-road stress.

Some factory plastic airboxes, especially under severe off-road corrugations, are prone to flexing and seal leakage.

Fine silica dust bypasses weak filter seals, eroding turbo impellers and cylinder walls.

A rigid, gasket-sealed aluminium box with a clamp-on filter completely stops dust bypass on corrugations.

Cool aesthetics aside, the thick clear top lid on this PSICO Performance unit allows visual inspection of filter dirt levels or water ingress without opening the box and breaking seals.

Upgrading to a smooth, high-flow airbox and pipework reduces intake restriction and maximizes airflow to the turbo.

More air means lower EGTs when towing or under heavy load, creating a safer environment if the vehicle is ECU remapped or running a performance module.

May as well turn the clock back to zero with this one 💪

When these engines are reconditioned right, correcting known factory weak points like the injector seat washers and pairing them with upgraded filtration, they are essentially reset to zero hours.

The V8 era isn't fading away, it's simply shifting into a heavy remanufacturing phase to keep these iconic Cruisers on the tracks for the next twenty years..
