The new home of Grand Tourer - Toowoomba, QLD - is a city packed with history. Did you know that Toowoomba (more specifically the suburb of Middle Ridge) was the setting for the very first race ever featuring a Ford Falcon? It was thought that the Falcon's first outing was at Phillip Island on the 20th November 1960, but in fact it was on the 17th September 1960 at the Carnival of Flowers Road Racing Championships. On the surface it is a fairly quiet week for the club, But in the background we are busy getting everything organised for our High Altitude Run 13 - 15 March 26.
