A pretty weld is one thing, but there’s more to quality than meets the eye 👀🔥

A little appreciation post for some of llamafab_issak recent TIG work because these welds are looking bloody beautiful 🤌

The outside might be what catches your eye, but we reckon the inside deserves just as much appreciation!

It’s the little details and quality of workmanship that we take so much pride in + we think the video speaks for itself 🦙✨

ONE YEAR IN THE BIGGER SHED 🦙🥹

We moved into this place with what felt like a very big very empty workshop and now somehow we look around and there are cars everywhere 😂

Which feels a little bit wild considering this all started as a hobby in my parents driveway. But there have been a lot of years in the industry, a lot of late nights, a lot of learning and a lot of fu***ng hard work between that driveway and this workshop.

Owning a business is definitely not all growth and cool cars either. One week you feel like everything is finally clicking and the next week something breaks, a bill appears, plans change and the world feels mildly on fire HAHAHA

This year has probably been our most stressful and exciting yet but looking back at where we started compared to now is pretty bloody unreal.

More room, more cars, more equipment, a growing team and a workshop that actually feels like the reality we worked towards for years.

Still chaotic. Still learning. Still very grateful we took the leap.

Liam went overseas and came home to new door runner stickers on the Hilux and safe to say he’s obsessed 🤝🏼

The Hilux looked cool before but somehow it looks even cooler now… again because of me 👀

He’s honestly so lucky to have such an awesome wife 😂

We’ve got some exciting news for us… probably not so exciting for everyone trying to book in 😂

Our books are officially CLOSED for 2026 🦙

We honestly can’t thank everyone enough for keeping us this busy. It’s pretty wild to think that only two years ago Llama Fab was basically a side project and now we get to come in every day, do what we love and work on some seriously cool builds.

We’re now taking bookings from January 2027 only, so if you’ve been thinking about getting your build in with us, now’s the time to start planning ahead 👀

Also… the Hilux finally got some door banners and we’re way too stoked with how they turned out 👌

Remember that Patrol we posted? 👀

Well this is the catch can that went with it

Starting as a flat sheet of aluminium and ending up looking this neat once it’s folded, baffled and fully welded up is exactly the kind of fabrication we love

Simple part, heaps of detail and a very tidy little piece to finish off the engine bay 👌🦙

Not our usual JDM build but definitely still our kind of job 👌

This is Brock’s Barra swapped GQ Patrol. We fabricated a full 4 inch stainless exhaust, carefully transitioning sections into oval tube to achieve the clearance it needed, along with custom aluminium charge piping, a 4 inch intake and plenty of other fabrication work throughout the build.

A lot of planning, tight clearances and precision went into making every piece fit properly, flow smoothly and look like it belonged there.

We’re seriously proud of how this tough old Patrol came together 🦙

While the snowy workshop photos might’ve been AI generated for a laugh… our trip to the snow definitely isn’t 😂

For the first time since opening the shop, we’re actually taking a proper holiday. Which means the workshop will be closed until the 9th of July.

That also means…
🦙 No fabrication
📞 No calls
💬 No replying to messages

We’ll get back to everyone as soon as we’re home but for the next week we’re swapping welders for snowboards (hopefully… if there’s actually any 🤞😂).

Thanks for being patient with us. We appreciate all the support and can’t wait to get back into it next week.

The guessing game is over!
A few of you got it right, a few of you were way off and a few of you are just here for Peachy photos (peep the last photo 👀)
This is Stuart’s gorgeous 1964 EH Sedan.
It says “Special” on the side and special it really is with a 304 based 383 stroker squeezed in the bay paired with a TH700 and Ford 9” rear end.

Stuart brought the car to us for a complete twin 3” stainless exhaust system so we pulled out all the stops and did our thing. The laser level may have come out a few times along the way to satisfy our OCD and make sure everything sat exactly where it should.

From the hand fabricated X pipe to the intricate work over the diff, this one received plenty of attention to detail from start to finish.

We’re extremely proud of how this one turned out and grateful to have been trusted with such an incredible build. A very cool car that was an absolute pleasure to work on. 👌🦙
