Not our usual JDM build but definitely still our kind of job 👌

This is Brock’s Barra swapped GQ Patrol. We fabricated a full 4 inch stainless exhaust, carefully transitioning sections into oval tube to achieve the clearance it needed, along with custom aluminium charge piping, a 4 inch intake and plenty of other fabrication work throughout the build.

A lot of planning, tight clearances and precision went into making every piece fit properly, flow smoothly and look like it belonged there.

We’re seriously proud of how this tough old Patrol came together 🦙

While the snowy workshop photos might’ve been AI generated for a laugh… our trip to the snow definitely isn’t 😂

For the first time since opening the shop, we’re actually taking a proper holiday. Which means the workshop will be closed until the 9th of July.

That also means…
🦙 No fabrication
📞 No calls
💬 No replying to messages

We’ll get back to everyone as soon as we’re home but for the next week we’re swapping welders for snowboards (hopefully… if there’s actually any 🤞😂).

Thanks for being patient with us. We appreciate all the support and can’t wait to get back into it next week.

The guessing game is over!
A few of you got it right, a few of you were way off and a few of you are just here for Peachy photos (peep the last photo 👀)
This is Stuart’s gorgeous 1964 EH Sedan.
It says “Special” on the side and special it really is with a 304 based 383 stroker squeezed in the bay paired with a TH700 and Ford 9” rear end.

Stuart brought the car to us for a complete twin 3” stainless exhaust system so we pulled out all the stops and did our thing. The laser level may have come out a few times along the way to satisfy our OCD and make sure everything sat exactly where it should.

From the hand fabricated X pipe to the intricate work over the diff, this one received plenty of attention to detail from start to finish.

We’re extremely proud of how this one turned out and grateful to have been trusted with such an incredible build. A very cool car that was an absolute pleasure to work on. 👌🦙

In true Llama fashion, we’ve been so busy in the workshop and at events that we forgot to post one of the cool cars we had through earlier this year 😅
So here is Lukes beautiful single turbo LS Torana “ADHD”.

We replaced the old super low hanging 3” system with a tucked up 3.5” exhaust, 4” dump pipe and 4” side exit.
Space was ridiculously tight but we’re stoked with how it turned out 👌

After a retune by our good mate Jesse at Madoc Tuning it made a whopping 1000hp

Definitely a fun one to be a part of!

We’ll be closed this FRIDAY & MONDAY while we’re away at an event in Warwick and back on the tools TUESDAY! 🤝✨

Until then, Peach has been promoted to Receptionist… but unfortunately as you can see in the photos (aka my evidence) she firmly believes every enquiry can be solved with a nap 💻😴

We’ll be back next week and will start working through all messages once we’ve completed the official handover process and recovered the laptop from underneath her cute lil face… surely a treat will work 😂

Mechanical Mondays 🔧🦙

A new little series where we show some of the mechanical work happening in the shed.

Most people know us for fabrication and honestly we don’t blame you, it’s pretty hot 🔥

But Liam is also a fully qualified mechanic so we thought it was about time we show that side of the workshop too.

Just some of the stuff we do weekly includes:
- Timing belts
- Water pumps
- Engine Reseals (we’re looking at you Toyota and Nissan owners 👀)
- Suspension and driveline bushes
- General servicing and so on

Pretty much all the good stuff that keeps your car on the road reliably that you sometimes don’t think about until it’s too late.

Just look at it this way, while your car is in for mechanical work it’s the perfect time for those sneaky upgrades you’ve been thinking about.
