🔥 ANOTHER BOAT TRANSFORMED — HALLETT STINGER 🔥

This Hallett Stinger is heading home looking seriously fresh for summer.

And this job is a great example of what we do at Bundoora Custom Marine — it’s not just full interiors and Boat in a Box. We work across all types of boats and can tailor the job around exactly how you use your boat.

For this Stinger, our team completed:

⚓ Custom modifications to the side coamings to give easier access and more room for the skis
⚓ New U-DEK flooring on the rear platform

Most boat owners wait too long. Here are 5 signs your upholstery needs replacing.

1. Cracking along the seams - This is where water gets in. Once moisture reaches the foam, you're potentially dealing with mould and a much bigger job.

2. Vinyl lifting at the edges - The adhesive bond has broken down. It won't reattach — and it will keep spreading.

3. Exposed or crumbling foam - You're now replacing the skin AND the foam. The longer you leave it, the more it costs.

4. Discolouration that won't clean off - That's probably a combination of UV, Moisture/Mildew, Sunscreen & Body oils, Harsh cleaners or Dye Transfer (clothing) etc, It's not a maintenance problem — it's a replacement problem.

5. A smell that won't go away - Moisture is sitting inside the foam. You can't clean your way out of this one.

Every seat that leaves this workshop goes through this exact moment. Vinyl pulled tight. Staple gun in hand. Tension checked by feel before it's fixed in place. It sounds simple. But get it wrong and you see it in the finished result — bubbling, pulling, uneven lines that show up the moment the sun hits the seat.

Our trimmers have done this thousands of times. And they still treat every panel like it's the one that matters most. Because it is. This is what quality marine upholstery actually looks like before it looks good. It's not glamorous — but it's why the finish holds up season after season.
