Chrissie & Katherine want to raise $1000 by October 31st for Cancer Council Australia!

We’re creating a Handmade Ghost Army to be displayed out the front of Katherine’s house for all to see from Tuesday morning until Halloween!

$10/per ghost! (Tax deductable)

100 ghosts will equal $1000!

So far our tally is 20/100 so we need to sell 80 more!!

And that’s a wrap on Lunchbox Rally 2026!!

We have had the most incredibly adventure with a whole bunch of truly remarkable people.

After the finish line had we all of an hour to run back to the motel and shower before the after party awards where it had not dawned on us that we would have to say goodbye to our amazing new family. We cried and cried for days… and honestly; we’re still emotionally fragile.

Day 4- Louth to Dubbo. And the final run to the finish line.

Today Grace and I wear our Op-Shop picks for each other. Mum in a full length satin pleated dress with a fabulous sleeve moment & Grace in her $10 flower girl gown with layers for days!

Day 3: Louth

We were treated to an everchanging sky: a fiery sunset, an endless expanse of twinkling stars & a spectacular moon thanks to the “moon illusion” also coming off the back of a golden full harvest moon! (Which was particularly difficult to capture)

We spent the night in triage again with The Mini Green Hornet. Pete and the crew worked tiresomely to get her back on the road and headed to the finish line after having issues with the fuel line and the ignition coil. Everyone was very determined she would drive across the line! Lunchbox Rally

Day 3- Eulo to Louth. And Crazy Hair Day 🙌🏼

Plot Twist- Chris drove ALL night long to organise our Winter 26 rally car “Mercules” that was in Brisbane to meet us back in Eulo at 6am! HUGE shout out to Richard and Sam for the mammoth effort on their end too, Thankyou! We definitely need to organise a catchup and a slab of b**r!

And so we’re on the road again… as team “Rainbow Exhaust-ed”

Each day we continue to have breakdowns; fuel lines, ignition coils, suspension, blown tires, batteries and alternators (and that’s just our buddy group) and the guys get straight into it, everyone’s relaxed and having a great time.

Today we crossed through the dingo fence at the border, had a cold one at the Royal Mail Hotel Hungerford & managed a swim in the Darling River before crawling into camp at the Louth Racecourse. Lunchbox Rally
