VX SS Commodore
Customer wanted to change previous windscreen out for a SOLACO UV reflective screen and mentioned water had been leaking into passengers footwell.
Found many signs of careless installation from previous tech leading to water leakage and rust such as improper urethane bead height and shape, incorrect/missing application of primer/activators and scratches to bodywork from using snap off blades to trim urethane (ie stanley knife).
Plenum chamber/cowling removed ✅
Urethane trimmed with appropriate tool ✅
Rust sanded and primed ✅
