Get Geared Up Driving School

ABOUT US! ... MISSION & VALUES

Get Geared Up Driving School offers driving lessons with a friendly and relaxed feel; albeit professional. At the very core of their mission, lies a commitment to providing a friendly, engaging, respectful and rewarding learning environment. Get Geared Up Driving School is owned and operated by a husband and wife team named Calvin and Laura; having working with children blue cards, fully qualified as driving instructors and offer a male and a female instructor in order to accommodate a student’s preferences. Calvin and Laura have a combined 76 years of driving experience between them and considerable experience as a professional driver in their own tourism business they owned in the Kimberley for over a decade. This couple are a friendly, approachable pair who have an extremely patient approach, which will make even the most nervous of students, feel at ease immediately! Having a household of young adults; they consider themselves pretty qualified in the social etiquette of the era!

They have a passion for teaching students to drive safely. Their aim is to teach safety first and in doing so; produce competent, safe drivers - rather than teaching a student to just simply pass their driving test. The passing of a driving test is the first step to being able to drive independently for a lifetime to come; however, with the skills and understanding behind this first step, their goal is that their students will continue to always drive responsibly and competently.

Lessons are available within certain parts of the Noosa Shire including: Noosa, Noosaville, Tewantin, Tinbeerwah, Cooroy, Sunshine Beach (and any areas in-between!). For remote areas, they can either meet you at a pick up point within these areas or possibly arrange a pick up and drop off for an additional cost. Do not hesitate to get in touch via the contact form, email, phone, Facebook or Instagram links, where they look forward to helping you and discussing your needs!
