Port Performance is a mechanical workshop based in Taylors Beach, servicing Port Stephens and surrounding areas.

The business supports a wide range of vehicles including cars, 4WDs, light commercial vehicles, motorcycles, PWCs, ATVs and UTVs, offering a well rounded service across both road and recreational use.

Port Performance delivers everything from routine servicing and registration inspections through to diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds and performance work. The team takes a practical, honest approach, focusing on quality workmanship and clear advice to ensure the right outcome for each job.

Automotive Services
* Logbook servicing for all makes and models
* Pink slips (eSafety checks) and blue slips (vehicle inspections)
* Cars, 4WDs, SUVs, light commercial vehicles, caravans and trailers
* Computer diagnostics and electrical fault finding
* Engine repairs, rebuilds, brake and suspension work
* Transmission servicing and air conditioning

Motorcycle Services
* Servicing and r

epairs for road, dirt, motocross, enduro and custom bikes
* Engine rebuilds, clutch and transmission work
* Electrical diagnostics, suspension and brake servicing
* Performance upgrades, tuning and modifications
* Registration inspections including modified and custom bikes

PWC and Recreational Vehicles
* PWC servicing, maintenance and repairs
* Cooling systems, fuel systems and electrical checks
* Jet pump servicing and component inspections
* ATV and quad bike servicing for farm, recreational and utility use
* Suspension upgrades, tyres, accessories and general repairs

* Pre purchase inspections
* Wrong fuel recovery (diesel vehicles)

Port Performance is currently recruiting for two full time positions at its Taylors Beach workshop:

🔧 Qualified Motorcycle Technician
🔧 Apprentice Motorcycle Technician

Both positions are full time and operate Monday to Friday, giving team members their weekends free.

Port Performance services and repairs a diverse range of motorcycles and powersports vehicles, including road bikes, dirt bikes, jet skis, ATVs and UTVs.

Qualified Motorcycle Technician
Port Performance is looking for an experienced tradesperson with strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.

Apprentice Motorcycle Technician
The apprentice role would suit someone who is mechanically minded, reliable and eager to learn from experienced technicians.
First year applicants and apprentices who have already commenced their training are welcome to apply.
