Heavy Diesel Fitter/Mechanic

These role consist of planning, and carrying out comprehensive repaires and rebuilds on a variety of Earthmoving, Agricultural and Construction machinery, also Highway vehicles. We service Taroom and surrounding areas as far as Wandoan, Miles, Theodore and Roma.

Tasks consist of but not limited to major and minor repaires, auto eletrical, air conditioning, manufacturing and a broad range of equipment upgrades. We are proud to provide complete services including diagnostics, engine, drivetrain, chassis refurbishment, hydraulic hose manufacturing, repaires and modifications.

The team here is a family friendly unit, with opportunities to advance your skill sets, certificates and learn far more than just what is covered by your trade.

Above award wages paid to the right applicant with other perks depending on performance and commitment.
Experience is most valued, trade certification is an added bonus.
MR Truck licence will be a requirement for this roll. We can help you attain these after probationary period completed if required.
Our working environment can often change very quickly, with seasonal repair demands varying with little warning means the applicant needs the ability to work under pressure with the support of our existing team.
Zero tolerance on Drugs with random testing a part of all contracts offered to the applicant.

We are located in some of the best agricultural land in Queensland on the banks of the Dawson river in Taroom. Taroom is a flourishing, peaceful community with P-10 state school, Kindy, local bowls, golf, tennis and footy clubs plus more. Roughly 4 hours drive to Toowoomba or Rockhampton.

Stieger brake mounting repair.

We bought a 2nd hand profile cutter couple years back. Over the last few months we refurbished, and got it set up and running.
First job was Manufacturing some brake mounts for the Stieger Tractors as the mounts are unavailable and almost impossible to find 2nd hand.

Hydraulic repairs are a Dailey exercise. Hoses, valves, pumps, cylinders and anything else hydraulic. We manurfacture our own hoses using quality Gates fittings and hoses.

Hi Folks.

It has been a extremely busy end to the year, we did our best to accomodate all the jobs required for everyone, apologies to those we couldn’t, we will continue our service early January after we have taken a slight pause to reset.
The ongoing local support is always appreciated.
