Back into the swing of things after the Break, First few weeks have been full on with Phones going crazy, workshop upgrades, Dyno tuning, TD cooling packages, and jobs on top of jobs.

Here’s some of our first projects for the year. Carters TD42T well underway, and Simons little 22R Toyota, with a little cam package to help it along.

What a Year it’s been,
Thankyou too all our Customers, Suppliers and everyone in-between for such a huge year for Currie Bros.
The last Few weeks have been crazy and the boys have been passing themselves going back the other way trying to get everything done before Santa comes.

Thanks for everyone being so patient after such a crazy year.

We are taking a well deserved break and will return to work on January 5th

Another Stroker out the door
Charlie came to us wanting a stout little engine for his ground up GQ ute build. So there was no other option than a Currie Bros TD45 Stroker.

TD45 Stroker Crankshaft
DPP Billet Conrods
MAHLE pistons
ACL Race bearings
ARP head studs
UFI 200hp pump, 21L Turbo, Clutch
Radius fabrications Merge manifold & Dump
Curries cooling package
AECO weld on Inlet manifold top
and plenty other goodies to go along with it, with everything done in house.

Today we had Zac’s beautiful GQ coil cab in for a run on the Dyno

Currie Bros built the engine back in 2023, while its been a long time coming Zac’s been finishing the rest of ute for a few years now and man has it paid off.

After a little play on the dyno, the pump did not what to play the game, maxing out at 135hp through the RE4.
A little time and a 200hp 11mm United Fuel Injection Pump later we rolled back onto the dyno to try it again.

This time proving why we use the UFI gear.
rolled off the dyno at 170HP and 760NM through the auto, now that doesn’t seem like heaps, but with the loose tourque converter, RE4 auto and 35s, driveline loss on the dyno is significant.
Completely changed the car from the 111HP it come in at. Making it such a different animal to drive on the road.

We were astonished by the time, money and hard work Zac has put into this thing and loved to see him trusting us with swinging spanners and giving it a run on the dyno.

How good is it to see the old GQs being given the love they deserve.

Attention Customers,

With the Current Flooding the workshop is closed for now and unsure of when we will be back up and fully operational.
So please stand by, We are unsure of the full extent of the damage just yet as we can’t get to the workshop.

Saying this there WILL be a delay on all engines and other work until this weather backs off.

We are hoping the damage is minimal and we can get back functional asap

We ask everyone to be patient and we will keep you updated as we get more information on the situation at the workshop in the days to come.

Attention All TD42 owners

STANDARD AND STROKER BILLET CRANKS Expression of interest

We are in the middle of doing a another possible order for Billet cranks from overseas, and are chasing numbers.

We have used these Cranks before and Use one in our own Orange TD45 Stroker.

If you or someone you know is interested in getting a billet crank for there TD tell them to get in touch.

A little update from around the workshop

Two Turbo spec TD42s and a 1HD-FTE finished and ready to head out the door!

Both TD42s were complete Turbo spec rebuilds, Both paired with a UFI pump and UFI 16G turbos.

The 1HD-FTE was also a complete build, using a Genuine Toyota Crankshaft, H/D Conrods, Genuine Fuel pump, ARP headstuds Ect. A perfect platform to make some good power from the FTE.

The Currie Bros Stroker 4.5 Litre TEEDEE is almost ready too make some noise.

After a little sleepover at the workshop it’s back and ready to make some numbers. With a bit of a different setup to usual as some may notice, changed turbo setups with a new Radius Merge Manifold, Pulsar 3071 paired with 44mm external waste gate plumbed back in to keep it legal.
